In the middle of the darkest night, Jana returns to her parents' home. She returns when no one is expecting her. After a long time spent abroad without giving any news, she finds a familiar but curiously strange environment. The outside world assaults her, the constraint to fit in torments her and she withdraws into her inner world. The only way out is to immerse herself in the city she had tried so hard to escape.
Her anguish of the past as well as of her future pushes her to take refuge with Adam, her former love. Jana tries to reconcile with herself in the midst of the chaos of Beirut, where dreams and realities mix in an uncertain present.
